Stickless Custom Controllers

Plan Your Layout

From classic layouts to left-hand swapped, widely-spaced, and never-before-seen layouts, you have complete creative control of where and what each button should be! We’ll work together to turn your idea into a digital mock-up, which you can print at home to try out and iterate before building the real thing.

Personalize Your Faceplate

Stickless controller faceplates are built using polycarbonate (Lexan), which is the perfect material for professional UV printing! We work with a local shop to print your art directly onto the polycarbonate, which results in a rich and vivid faceplate that accurately showcases every detail of your design.

Need help with art? The lovely folks at The Arcade Stick have got you covered! Once we plan out your ideal layout, I’ll send you a Photoshop template file which can be passed along to your favorite artist.

Can’t Decide on Art?

Sometimes it’s hard to beat the simple, clean, aesthetics of wood. The case below was made with white oak, finished with teak oil and semi-gloss polyurethane! And yes… we’ve built some controllers with sticks!

Speaking of Cases…

Most Stickless controllers have wood cases! From the classic baltic birchwood plywood to exotic hardwoods like wenge, you have full creative freedom over the aesthetic and construction of your case.

Get Creative

Here are a few customization ideas from previous controllers if you’re looking for some inspiration!

Custom Cables

From patterned paracord to high quality sleeving like Techflex and MDPC-X, add that last bit of style with a cable that complements your controller! Whether it’s USB-C, Gamecube, RJ45, or even aviator/LEMO connectors, we’ve got you covered.

Laser Engraving

Stickless controllers use a thin, 3mm layer of yoga mat on the base to provide a comfortable, easy to clean, and sweat-proof cushion between your legs and the controller! Yoga mat has the added benefit of being laser engraveable, which means you can add your own custom design to the base, too.

Reactive LEDs

Basic LED strips can help make a single accent color in your artwork stand out. Reactive LEDs allow for controlling the individual lighting associated with each button press!

Straps & Handles

Prefer to carry your controller like a briefcase rather than shove it in a backpack? You can add quick-release guitar strap hooks for some added portability!
